Vlerick Business School joins the Future of Management Education (FOME) Alliance
Vlerick Business School has joined as the newest member of the Future of Management Education (FOME) Alliance. A leading business school in the Benelux region, Vlerick has distinguished itself through a commitment to a learner-centred ethos that combines experiential learning and flexibility with a progressive and digitally innovative approach. Entrepreneurship and digital transformation are central components of Vlerick’s educational vision and are incorporated throughout its postgraduate, executive education, and customised programmes.
Vlerick Business school joins eleven partners from across the globe as a member of the FOME Alliance: BI (Norway), ESMT (Germany), EDHEC (France), Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Hong Kong), IE (Spain), Imperial College Business School (UK), Ivey Business School (Canada), Johns Hopkins Carey Business School (United States), Singapore Management University (Singapore), The University of Melbourne (Australia) and Luiss Business School (Italy). This network brings together the expertise and vision of faculty, senior management, Edtech project managers, learning designers, and media experts from each institution to collaborate and create cutting-edge online learning experiences.
As a new FOME member, Vlerick Business School will support collaboration and development across the international network. Vlerick will also exchange best practices, develop joint learning experiences with existing members, and contribute to the advancement of digital learning innovation in business education across the globe.

About the author
Dr. Carin Peller-Semmens is Academic Engagement and Partnerships Manager at insendi. Educated on both sides of the Atlantic, she holds a BA from Mount Holyoke College, an MA from Rutgers University, and a PhD from the University of Sussex. Her work as a historian focuses on 19th century American History, investigating racial violence and white supremacy. Carin’s first book is forthcoming from Louisiana State University Press.
Carin’s academic training is bolstered by years of corporate experience in communications, business development, and fundraising. As part of insendi’s Academic Engagement team, Carin manages and strengthens current partner relationships to support their successful strategic development and growth. She engages in multi-stakeholder user community building, including the award-winning FOME alliance. Additionally, Carin leverages her research background for thought leadership and insendi research projects to showcase edtech’s capabilities and potential. A devotee of the Oxford comma, Carin is passionate about diversifying higher education and the inherent ability of new innovations to widen accessibility and enrich learning.
